OVERVIEW
A rare stretch of black sand
Kerandangan sits just around the corner from Senggigi Beach, close enough to reach in minutes but a genuinely different experience once you're there. This is one of the few true black sand beaches on this stretch of coast, a long, wide shoreline backed by a strikingly symmetrical palm plantation that's become a favorite backdrop for photos.
The Kerandangan Nature Conservation Park sits just inland, a small BKSDA-managed patch of tropical forest home to birds and butterflies, worth a short walk if you want to pair the beach with a bit of green space.
