OVERVIEW
A cove framed by sandstone cliffs
Tanjung Bloam is a small, secluded beach in the Jerowaru area of southeast Lombok, tucked beside distinctive orange-hued sandstone cliffs that frame the cove on both sides. It sits in the same remote cluster as Tanjung Ringgit and Kaliantan, close enough to combine into one trip, but Bloam is the one to visit for the actual beach experience rather than a lookout or a wind sport.
The stretch of coast here is also a sea turtle nesting habitat, part of what's kept the area relatively undeveloped and worth treating with care if you visit during nesting season.
