Where the coast turns calm again
Sire sits past Bangsal Harbour, at the point where the busier west coast corridor gives way to Lombok's quieter far north. Unlike the working fishing beaches further south along this same road, Sire has quietly built up around a small cluster of resorts, calm enough water that families come specifically to swim here, rather than just passing through on the way to a boat.
Mount Rinjani is visible behind the bay on clear days, giving Sire one of the more striking backdrops on this whole stretch of coast without needing to compete with Senggigi's crowds.
